Sexual Abuse & The Two Witness Policy
Jehovah's Witnesses believe the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society is God's organization and only channel of truth.
The Watchtower Teaches:
1. Jesus Christ is not God, but Michael the Archangel, the first and only thing directly created by Jehovah God.
2. The Trinity is pagan.
3. The Holy Spirit is an impersonal active force. He is an it. He does not contain a personality.
4. Only 144,000 people can go to Heaven. Everyone else has the hope of living forever on a paradise earth. This is the main message Jehovah's Witnesses preach door to door.
5. Jesus Christ did not have a physical resurrection. The body he resurrected with was not the same body he had before he died.
6. Jesus Christ did not die on a cross but a torture stake.
7. There is no everlasting punishment.
8. In order to be "saved" one must be baptized into the Watchtower organization, believe in Jehovah and Jesus, attend meetings, go door to door and witness a certain amount of hours each month and obey God's commands. Even if one was to do all these things there is still no guarantee of living forever on God's paradise earth.
9. Jesus Christ came back in 1914 and chose the Jehovah's Witnesses, who were known as the Bible Students at the time, as the only group who was teaching truth. Since 1914 Jesus has been reigning invisibly.
Jehovah's Witnesses stopped distributing "Should You Believe in the Trinity?" around 2012.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel, the first thing and only thing directly created by Jehovah God. This heresy is also known as Arianism.
"Jesus said to them, Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM." John 8:58 NASB
"God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you." Exodus 3:14 NASB
Jehovah's Witnesses are a part of an organization called the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society which is located in Brooklyn New York and was founded in the late 1800's by Charles Taze Russell. The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society is led by seven men called the Governing Body. You probably have come across one of their publications "The Watchtower" or "The Awake". Jehovah's Witnesses are also known for their door to door ministry and attempts to persuade individuals to a seemingly harmless "Bible study". Beware! This is not just any Bible study, this is when Watchtower indoctrination begins. They will use an anonymous publication called, "What Does the Bible Really Teach?" The publication is used with the Bible to make it seem that you are studying out of the Bible. But you are studying out of a book. The Watchtower is a dangerous cult and has destroyed families. 4Jehovah.org and JWFacts.com are excellent resources in dealing with the history of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society and documenting their false teachings.
